Teaching Experience in Bali:
Teaching and learning process in Siki is conducted in private or small group classes so that it makes the students able to improve their skills intensively. However, sometimes some students are still unwilling to interact more actively in the class so that I need to create an interactive learning process in the class. I believe this interactive process can help the students to improve their skills without making them feel bored.

Message For Students in SIKI:
Learning a language is not only limited to studying the book or studying in the class. You have to do more practices outside the class and it can be done through fun ways, such as movies, songs, or magazines. The last but not least, you need to be active in the class and ask the teacher if you face some problems.

Teaching Experience in Bali:
My name is Ni Luh Ayu Cempaka Dewi, just call me Cempaka. Im’m 28 years old. I’m from Denpasar and marriage with 2 years old son. I love teaching very much, it’s my passion. I had many experiences in teaching especially English. I started teaching from 2003, and it was in kindergarten school in Denpasar for almost about 5 years. In 2007 I started teach English for adults until now. Now I am an English teacher in SIKI Bali. It’s been very nice and challenging for me to teach the students in SIKI Bali, especially teaching Japanese students. In the class we can be so fun learning English, because as the fact that the students cannot speak English and I cannot speak Japanese. This means that the process can be really focus to English so the students can explore their abilities in English. Being a teacher for me is such a blessed. I really enjoy teaching, by teaching we learn many things such as learn the new characters of student and also improve the material. Once I had a student who was very quite in the class with his flat face. It was so hard for me to get his attention and tried hard to make him smile or even feel comfortable in the class. But then, I picked one topic that seemed for me he got interested in, that was sports. After 5th meetings then he eventually tried to open his mind, be more active and had so much fun in the class. I was very glad and proud of him and now he can speak English better at his workplace. I was graduated from Udayana University in 2008 for English Department. To be honest, I didn’t really like English and when I was in elementary school I always escaped from school for English class. Then in 1999 until 2000, I went to New York, USA with my family for a year. I went to junior high school and everyday with English, so no way to escape. After almost 2 months, I tried to speak English more often with my friends at school and really enjoyed the time in the state. When I came back to Bali, my English is better than before. That is the reason I decided to continue my study to English department and now I’m studying in magister degree for translation in Udayana University too. I’m pretty sure that what I had in my experience can give motivation to the students who learn English that the more you have courage in yourself learning something the better result you will get.

Message For Students in SIKI:
For all students in SIKI Bali: time is gold, so have fun and use it as much as you can…you can learn today..then you will lead tomorrow

Teaching Experience in Bali:
I have been teaching English at SIKI BALI since February 2015. I like teaching and sharing my knowledge. I feel happy that I can teach at SIKI, because for me this is a great opportunity to join this language school. Most of the students whom I teach are Japanese students. Teaching Japanese students is a great experience because, besides learning English, we can share about our cultures as well. During the teaching and learning process, I can apply the methods and techniques in teaching language based on the students characters, motivations, and the way they learn.

Message For Students in SIKI:
For all the students, it is important to know that in learning a language you must encourage yourself to practice and use the language. Just be confident!
